Science and Technology Centers: Integrative Partnerships (STCs)
Submitted by Feldman.Maryann on
NSF is starting a new competition round for Science and Technology Centers: Integrative Partnerships (STCs). This is an NSF-wide competition that includes all NSF-funded fields of science and engineering; the awards are large-scale and long-term ($5 million per year for 5 years, with the possibility of renewal).
The goal is to support important investigations at the interfaces of disciplines or fresh approaches within disciplines. STCs bring together multiple institutions in a partnership.
The solicitation is now available: http://www.nsf.gov/pubs/2014/
The competition has two rounds: preproposals are due on December 11, 2014, with a goal of inviting full proposals by March 16, 2015. Awards will be announced in April 2016.
It would be great to see proposals from this community of scholars.
